| Summary | 0000482: Amendments management in project Excel export |
| Description | So far, amendments/version of projects are not taken into account in Excel exports. But it could be useful to compare the value of key information in different amendments of the project. |
| Additional Information | To develop this feature, a preliminary design has been imagined with Sherzod to take into account amendments in global exports.
Each version of the project would be exported as a separate row in the table. Several new columns will be added:
- a "Unique id" which will be basically the project id coming from the database, and which will ensure that all rows representing the same project will be groupable (code or title might change)
- a "Version number" which will give the version number of the project in the exported row
- a "Version status" which will give the status of this version (Draft, Locked, Validated or Rejected)
- a "Version last modif date" which will give the time the last modification has been made on data linked to this version (it should be then equivalent to last time this version has been set to "Locked")
A layout with colors as presented in the attached file "Sigmah Excel export with amendment.ods" will help to see the linkage between the different versions of the same project.
Issue regarding which value to export for fields not attached to the versioning system. This issue has been looked more in depth in the "Age of the captain story" tab of the attached file. The best option found during this preliminary design phase was to use the value of the field at the last time the version has been locked.
